does anyone know legally how long it takes to evict in california?

Where do I start, I am in the middle of a divorce, because my husband could not keep a job or he worked for free.  I owned a successfull business, always gave back to my community, and people in need, I figured what comes around goes around.  Well my go around came around. I have a son that is autistic and has a brain tumor, he thinks he is a financial burden on me and wants to kill himself, the school called and said that he needs counceling, that I can not afford.  I was laid off in August, after being recruited out to california for a salaried position in the mortgage industry.  I have been trying to contract myself out, which has only made things worse, because I am NOT getting paid its been over 60 days!  I keep trying but what am I supposed to do stop doing any work for them?  I am having a hard time finding a job due to the tax lien, NO one wants to hire someone with bad credit in the banking field, I even tried to get a job at kohls and they would not hire me.  My soon to be ex, didn't take care of our taxes properly, we are trying to sort it out, but in the mean time the IRS has put a lien against everything I have, including my meger wages that I am making as an independent contractor.  My best friend who lived in michigan killed himself last week which only makes things worse here, I had to go back to the funeral, it took everything I had and left me short on rent and eletric.  I am going to go and apply for aid, but I think its going to be too late, they evict in days here.  I really need someone with a good heart to help out.  I had to go bankrupt a couple years ago, and only 6 months before that I had a 755 credit score, just seems that the bad luck keeps following me.  I have medical bills up the wazu, I am three months behind on my car payment, my electric bill is two months behind and I am not late on my rent.  I have no one I can call on, things are so bad in my home town in michigan, that my father has not been able to find a job after being forced out of ford motor credit.  Everyone I know is looking for a job, and we are not talking dead beats, these were very well off exectutives.  How bad does the economy have to get before someone realizes that 6 months of unemployment isnt going to cut it?  I have three children, with no money, no food, bills up the ying yang, and I don't live the high life, I have a car with 140,000 miles on it, that has a cracked head, bad bracks and rotors, no insurance because I cant afford it. I cant afford to get my appraisal license in California, because I didnt need it for what I was doing before.  And I wont even go into the credit cards because I actually laughed when I saw there were people out there trying to get them paid off.  Mine have not been used nor paid in over a year.  I don't want to have to go to a shelter with my kids, it just cant come to that!, it cant.  I really am a hard worker, I actually always worked two jobs.
